Teaching our children by example and showing them what work is, is the #1 way to their success. They love to help and letting them do so will help them learn skills that will be so valuable for the rest of their lives. Sometimes it takes longer and is harder but it will be worth it in the long run.
This year has been a learning curve that has never been so fun. We started goats in December 2015 and kidded out just after the new year, memorial day and Labor day. I guess our goats like celebrating the holidays with some kids. Here is a sample of the cuteness we have had this year. We are loving our goats!

Tribute to our Beautiful Mare, Haidas
This last year has brought a lot with it. Over last winter our beautiful mare was becoming very ill and would not eat and we came to find out that she tore her ACL and was suffering from chronic pain so much that she was slowly starving. With our vets advice we had to put her down. She was a big loss to us and her filly. We will Miss Haidas Smart Chick and the sweetheart that she was.Training HorsesWe picked up a few new horses this last spring and trained them and sold them. One of our horses was sold back to its Original owner from 18 years ago. What are the odds? It was a fun reunion for them.
