Journal Entry #2
Have you ever had a goal you wanted to accomplish and when you did how did it feel? Or have you had a desire for a certain lifestyle and when it is actually coming together as you had hoped, how do you feel? We are beginning to see what these two things feel like.
My kids goal was to lure a bunny from its hole with some grass....I am proud to say they still haven't given up!
We are very excited to open a new chapter in our lives. We are moving back to the great state of Idaho.
Here is where you will find WHY we are doing this in our first Journal entry. Being able to move back makes us feel like we can begin a dream that has been in the works a long time. It is just the beginning, the path will be full of bumps but the journey on this path will be beautiful.
We have a few things in our near future that we are unsure of. Like what job we will be able to find, where we will live and how we are going to make things work out. These are things a lot of us face in our lives and are really just a part of life. But things that we are sure of is that we feel like the timing is right, we feel good about the direction we are going even if we don't know of the things that will come our way that will be hard. We feel like they will work out when we need them to with the Lord's help. I also am sure the Lord loves me and wants to help. I love this video and I think it goes well with the way we just have to have Faith and Hope that things will work out in the end.
We had a goal to be out of debt before six years were up and are happy to say we just accomplished that goal. It feels great! My perspective has really changed a ton in the last 6 months and a lot of that has to do with Dave Ramsey's book 'The total money makeover'. He has seven baby steps to life's finances that I think are great and I hope to make them work in my personal life. Step 1 and 2...Check!
I see money different now and I want to live now like no one else so later on I can live like no one else. We are hoping to play things right and not go into debt again and live within our income no matter what that may be. We are hoping to build a small homestead home next spring and not get a loan to do it with. I will keep you all posted on how we are going to go about that on a small income.
Life is full of adventure. We can let each day pass doing nothing about our dreams or we can take chances and start living our dream by making a few changes in our lives. I think we all deserve that.
I started living my dream almost 10 years ago when I decided to marry my husband and to have the children we have had. Everyday is an Adventure! I am grateful we get the opportunity to work hard to make our dream in Creating our Arcadian lifestyle come together.
So here we go starting our journey back home to Idaho, debt free and in the place we want to be. Wish us luck! :)
PS: I hope you all can reach out and take life by the horns and start living your dreams and make them become your reality!
